Archie Gemmill is renowned as an outstanding international football player. In the 1970s, he played a major part in League Championship successes for both Derby County and Nottingham Forest. His excellence is one of the few things these two sets of supporters agree about! He won 43 caps playing for Scotland. He went on to have a successful football management career with Nottingham Forest, Rotherham United and the Under 19 Scotland national team.

It was while playing for Scotland, in the 1978 World Cup finals in Argentina, scoring one of the wonder goals of the tournament that Archie will be most remembered.

Archie lives in the Derby area but will travel all over the country entertaing audiences with his after dinner talks.
