Allan Clarke, nicknamed "Sniffer", played for Walsall, Fulham, Leicester City, Leeds United and Barnsley, and won 19 international caps for England.

He was one of English football's greatest goal scorers who shot to fame in the much-admired and feared Leeds United team of the late 1960s and early 1970s.

He was briefly Lincoln City manager for six months but he was sacked on November 30, 1990 to be replaced by Steve Thompson.
