John Lukic
Former Professional Footballer, After Dinner Speaker, Presentation Night Host, Guest Apperances
John Lukic is a former professional goalkeeper who's playing career started at Leeds United as a schoolboy.
He made is debut for Leeds in 1979 and went on to play over 160 times for the Yorkshire based team before George Graham lured him to Arsenal.
John went onto to make 277 team appearances for the Gunners and will go down in Arsenal folklore after being part of the side that won the title at Anfield in the final game of the 1988/89 season.
Lukic was eventually replaced by David Seaman in the summer of 1990 and returned to Leeds, where he won the league title two years later. In total John made over 400 appearances for the club.
However, his career took another twist when he rejoined Arsenal in 1996 as understudy to Seaman and four years later was on the bench for Arsenal's Uefa Cup final defeat.
John can now be heard on the After Dinner circuit and is a regular on the television as a guest soccer pundit.
