The MPR Jazz Ensemble really is one of the country's finest Jazz specialists working in the music business today. Whether it's atmospheric music during dining, or at a drinks reception, music for dancing or an all out concert, The MPR Jazz Ensemble is the perfect choice to add style and sophistication to any event.

The MPR Jazz Ensemble has a wealth of experience playing at high profile events across the country. They have appeared on ITV's "This Morning" show with Philip Schofield and Fern Britten and have also performed as the backing band to the 2006 "X Factor" runner up, Ray Quinn. In April 2008 the band

performed at Rupert Murdoch's "News International" plant in Merseyside. Rupert Murdoch was in attendance and the event was featured in "The Times" and "The Sun" Newspapers. They have appeared at events along side personalities such as Sebastian Coe, Anthony Worrall Thompson, Duncan Bannatyne, Vince Cable,

Barry Cryer and the Jonathan Ross show's Four Puffs and a Piano.

They have also appeared at venues such as The Grosvenor House, Hilton Hotel, Lancaster London Hotel and The Four Seasons hotel London, The Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club and the NEC Birmingham, The Crown Plaza Manchester and the Royal Berkshire Hotel Surrey, to name just a few.

They have also made countless appearances at stately homes and country house hotels, for occasions such as corporate events, weddings, parties and birthday celebrations etc, as well as being engaged by the British Military on many events throughout the year.

The MPR Jazz Ensemble is happy to be completely flexible with regard to the ensemble line up, dress code, special requests, set and playing times etc in order to meet the requirements of the client exactly, to ensure that the event is a complete success and enjoyed by all.

The MPR Jazz Ensemble is made up of hand picked professional musicians and led by Mathew Richardson Bmus (Hons) who is a former scholarship student of the Royal Academy of Music London. Away from the ensemble Mathew along with the other members enjoy vast success as freelance musicians working at home and abroad on television, radio, on commercially available recordings and in some of the country's finest concert venues.

Fees quoted are only an indication of what you might have to pay, and in no way constitute an offer of any kind. In some cases overnight accommodation, travel expenses and VAT may be charged in addition to the fee.
